Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I make an appointment?
Please email acefood@purdue.edu to schedule an appointment. Otherwise, press the button below and you'll be redirected to our get involved page where you can find the email in a convenient button.
  • How does it work?
Drive, ride, or walk up to the back door of the Baptist Student Foundation (200 N Russell St, across from the Honors College) during your appointment time, and we'll get you checked in and browsing the pantry in no time. You can choose up to: - 2 items from the freezer - 2 items of produce (fruits & veggies) - 2 items of hygiene/cleaning products (shampoo, pads, lysol, etc) - 15 points (as an individual) and 20 points (as a family) worth of pantry items [Points breakdown poster located in the pantry to make your experience convenient]
  • Do I need to qualify to use the pantry?
All you need to visit the pantry is a PUID! Friends or family may also visit under your name and PUID if you are unavailable during your scheduled appointment time.
  • What can I typically find at the pantry?
Our stock varies week-to-week, especially during the spring and summer months when there is produce. But you can usually count on us carrying bread, canned items and breakfast items. We also make carrying items like pads, tampons and toilet paper a high priority.
  • I see you're located in a church. Is this a religious organization?
We are NOT a religious organization. The ACE Campus Food Pantry is a diverse group dedicated to elevating voices from all faith perspectives and identities, and making sure every Boilermaker feels at home with us. We are incredibly grateful to the Baptist Student Foundation (The Found) for being the first agency to house us (we are still located in their building to this day!). The Found shares our values of inclusion and welcomes ALL members of our community.
  • Can I donate some extra food I have on hand?
We'd love that! All you have to do is make sure the items you are donating have the ingredients listed on them, and we will handle processing from there! Donations can be dropped off at the pantry during our open hours, or in KRACH 336 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.
